I am a resident of the LCA (MEGAMOUND ESTATE), and I share in the deep frustration and pain of several others who have been living in total darkness for days now. The impolite manners and mistreatment displayed by  “Megamound and its Facility Management company, James & Kells, leaves much to be desired. Our existence has been marred by prolonged power outages, no means to preserve food, insufficient water supply, and a general decline in the quality of life – a situation akin to living in times of war.

The issue intensified a few days ago when the transformer supplying power developed an unknown fault, plunging the Estate into darkness. Despite our pleas and protests, James and Kells’ response was far from reassuring. They informed us of a supposed communication with the Power Holding company, but we remain sceptical.

Living conditions of approximately 500 residents, including children and the elderly, have significantly deteriorated due to this neglect. After all, according to the International Energy Agency, regular electricity supply is crucial for basic services such as healthcare, education, and maintenance of local businesses.

It’s time our voices were heard. We demand respectful handling of residents’ concerns, prompt rectification of the power situation, and complete transparency from Megamound & its Facility Management company – James & Kells.
